Baby Teething Rattle
MY VERY OWN® Rattle is handcrafted from a
single piece of Rock Maple. The rings are not put on
separately. Rock Maple is strong and tightly grained,
so the big, sturdy Rattle won’t break or splinter – and
there’s definitely no danger of swallowing. This rattle
is made from the same tree that gives us maple syrup.
It is the cleanest and purest of all woods. There is
no paint, lacquer, wax, oil, or any other finish on it,
so Baby can chew safely on the sweet maple wood. It is
recommended for babies who are 5 months and older.
We have included MY VERY OWN® Rattle because
we like it so much – for any age. It feels and sounds
so good! It also complies with all the American and European
safety standards for teething toys.

The Visual Hand Display (VHD)
The Visual Hand Display (VHD) was designed
and created by Jane Kronheim, educator and artist. It
was developed and researched in Boston in 1988 at Children’s
Low Vision Centre. One side of the VHD features vertical
black and white stripes used to access visual responses
at varying distances. The flip side features a girl’s
face, which is very attractive and appealing to young
infants who are interested in facial features. On this
side, a squeaker is stitched below the surface, safely
tucked away within the inner fabric of the VHD. There
are 4 sizes of stripes available. The wide stripes are
the most popular.
