Every so often we get good news that needs to be distributed to everyone! Some news will be upcoming events that Blind Children's Fund will be participating in or sponsoring. Other news may be free items offered from donators to be given to those in need who come to our site. Either way, please come often to the news section so you don't miss anything! In some cases, we may keep a news item up for a period of time...this will be true when we have something free to give out. We will keep it posted until it has been distributed.

Energizer Batteries

BCF is working with Energizer Batteries to supply free hearing aid batteries to children. We have a limited supply, but it does help. We have a new supply in, so please call our Mt. Pleasant office or email us at bcf@blindchildrensfund.org to find out what sizes we have available!

Also, our Resource Center in Auburn WA, also works with tactile communications as well as Active Learning (these are more for the multi-impaired children...all ages are welcome).

Verizon Foundation

The Verizon Foundation awarded BCF a grant for updating of technology for the office and to purchase needed software. This was a wonderful gift that has made the office much more effective!
